This past weekend in Zurich Switzerland was the first Sneakerness of the year and did they ever get things started off right. Before the door was even open there was a horde of hungry sneaker fanatics waiting to get let in. Really, there was a couple hundred people ready to get in and the line to get in was 20 to 30 deep most of the day. It was a crowded action packed Sneakerness to say the least.
On hand for the event were close to twenty tables maned by stores or private collectors. Some of the stores represented were Grand, Urban People, Sports Lab, Sneaker Mall, and for the snap back connoisseur Cap Diggers. With some of these table containing some great kicks new and used, hyped and not hyped. There were also some brands in attendance the likes of KangaROOS, Reebok, Asics Onitsuka Tiger, and Puma each with there respective booths showing their latest and greatest collections.
This Sneakerness also had a Basketball tournament for those needing a break from staring at kicks. The teams ranged in ages and sizes as well as skill level, but the team that came out champs were non other than Team Sneakerness.
In my three years of attending Sneakernesses I would be willing to go out on a limb to say this was the best yet. Most definitely the largest amount of tables with people show and selling shoes as well as one of the largest turn outs I have experienced at a Sneaker gathering here in Europe. I would like to congratulate the entire Sneakerness team for a job well done and I look forward to Amsterdam next month. My person highlight of the show was a guy from Genieva who had a great collection of OG Jordan 1s as well as many other OG Jordans, he also had a large collection of Lasered Nike shoes including Cortezs, AF1s, and Dunks. Check it all out in the Pictures below.
If you are missing out on what were on peoples feet at Sneakerness Zurich, check back tomorrow to see the heat that people were rocking.
