As part of its spring 2017 SPEZIAL range, adidas Originals recently launched the Garwen. The design dates back to the 1970s as part of the leisure focused adidas Freizeit range as the Brisbane. adidas used an OG edition of the Brisbane sourced from Noel Gallagher’s collection to bring the sneaker back to life as the Garwen.
After dropping the brown edition of he silhouette, the Oasis guitarist is now ready to drop his own edition of the Garwen. Gallagher dresses his edition of the sneaker in tonal indigo in a leather build. Complete with his likeness on the tongue tag (like his edition of the Training 72 NG).
The drop is limited and set for Wednesday, the 22nd of March through shops like Aberdeen based Hanon who will have them in-shop only for £99.
Update: END will release the sneaker online through its launches platform on Thursday, the 6th of April.
