Kyrie Irving went to Duke for just one year, leaving school for the NBA Draft where he was picked #1 by the Cavs in 2011. Playing off of Irving’s connection to Duke, Nike Basketball has hooked-up an upcoming release of The Nike KYRIE 1. The Duke colorway is set in black with white, grey and blue elements.
Nike Basketball has dubbed the kicks “Brotherhood”…
The new KYRIE 1 Brotherhood basketball shoe reflects the three-time All-Star’s appreciation for the camaraderie and leadership lessons he gained in college and brings to the court as a professional. The shoe’s blue-and-black color makeup is a tribute to his university.
A global release date is set for the 12th of March.
In addition to the kicks, Nike has hooked up socks, a t-shirt and a matching cap.
