Celebrated French brand Le Coq Sportif is bringing back two sporting icons. In particular, the Manufrance and Supertélé jerseys. These jerseys represent the glory days of Saint Etienne. Consequently, they also are reminiscent of the greats who wore them, including French legend Michel Platini.
With this in mind, it may help to think about the eras they represent. While sporting the Manufrance, the Saint Etienne Greens won their third domestic title in 1967. More significantly, the team wore the Supertélé as they became the first ten-time champions of France back in 1981.
Whenever we get a flash back sort of release, it’s nice to see. Specifically, LCS have shown a leaning towards nostalgia.
Both reissues are available now at select Le Coq Sportif storefronts, including LCS UK.
