Situated in Seoul, South Korea, Kasina has been serving kicks since 1997. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the shop has connected with adidas Consortium to style an edition of the Superstar Boost. To create the design, Kasina draws from traditional Korean shoe cobbling, Taesahae. In action, the design is white nubuck leather built on a brown sole. Detailing on the design include stitched “Three Stripes”, stitched detailing on the heel, 1997 on the heel and Kasina branding in the tongue. The standard Consortium tongue eyelet is set in tortoise shell for the release.
The sneaker is launching on the 21st of October through adidas Consortium dealers like US based Packer Shoes.
