10. Nike Trainerendor
The words “instant classic” gets thrown around a lot but these are one of those. SB and ACG in the same package. clean and low. Perfect in its simplicity. This years Roshe Run. Testament to how good it is, nearly every member of TEAMFP has a set.
9. Asics x Ronnie Fieg Gel Lyte V Volcano
Mr. Fieg has done some amazing work with various brands but these were truly something else. Flawless execution.
8. Adidas Y3 Qasa
Despite being a little on the obscure side, we both love this model. It’s hard to explain why we do, but we do, we REALLY do love this shoe.
7. Converse 1st String x Neighborhood 1970s Chuck Taylor OX
Converse did something really clever with reintroducing the 70’s chuck, amazing attention to detail and again, simplicity wins! Another hit with all TEAMFP. The Neighborhood colab on these was spot on.
6. Reebok x Sneakersnstuff Insta Pump Fury “Legal Issues”
Our friends over at SNS really went to town with this, these guys do some really great stuff all year around with many brands but this one really stood out for us. Big fans of most “animal prints” these were a truly inspired idea. Just don’t ask what the story behind it was.
5. Puma x BLKRNBW R698 and Future R698
Big ups to Clems, Jay and Greg on these joints. Muted tones and great textile applications worked beautifully on one of our favorite Puma models.
4. New Balance x Bodega NB 577 HYPRCAT
Another banger from the Bodega camp. ill colourway and well thought out concept. Enough said.
3. Saucony x Footpatrol Shadow Shadow 6000 “Only in Soho”
We had a bunch of projects we worked on this year and had great fun on everyone. This one, aside from the drama of having to postpone the launch from earlier in the year which was heartbreaking to say the least, was closest to our heart. Massive shout out to everyone that came out for the launch, we felt a lot of love on this. It was emotional.
2. Le Coq Sportif x 24 Kilates Flash
This was some stunning work. A beautiful shoe inspired by a stunning track top. The whole package on this was second to none.
1. Le Coq Sportif x Footpatrol Éclat “Macaron Edition”
Picking our favourite shoe from all the amazing shoes this year from general releases to super limited collaborations was never going to be an easy task but this was our personal favourite this year. From theme to material application and colourway we were mad happy with the outcome. Big ups to our good friends over at Le Coq for letting us do this.
We would like to give Jimmy, Asheeba and the rest of the Footpatrol team a special thanks for helping make this happen.
