Seeing the popular adidas NMD R1 continuing it’s solid run of killer colourways, Primeknit editions, retailer exclusives, and now also the newer NMD XR1. We can’t help but wonder if at some point, market saturation followed by an interest slump or silhouette fatigue will inevitably set in. It seems we are happy to report that the 3 stripes model this month is healthily proving otherwise, with the long-awaited multi-colourway drop this weekend (last week in the US)  accompanied by stealthy stateside drops with exclusives with retailer Champs and now we find another NMD R1 gem with online giants Eastbay. The model is a simple, mostly black colour-way albeit with some striking differences yet to be seen on the NMD R1. It features a Suede and Nylon upper with heel tabs in brown leather with matching forward stabiliser blocks, finished with heel strip in Blue. Downside? It’s a women’s colourway ie size 10.5 us need not apply.  If this is a hint at the possible premium urban/lifestyle direction this performance boost runner can take, in which so far we have seen mostly athletic make ups, then we should be in for a treat.

adidas, More of this please, much more … Now available, if you lucky that is, on Eastbay.
