Jordan Brand is not waiting until 2016 to celebrate the Air Jordan VIII, serving up the sneaker in a trio of colorways as part of its Holiday 2015 collection.
Included in the range is the classic Aqua colorway, which Michael Jordan wore during the 1993 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City. The build stays true to the original material palette in a remastered black nubuck upper with bright concord and aqua accents.
The collection also sees the return of the Black And Chrome edition from 2003. The first non-OG colorway of the sneaker, the kicks are dressed in black with chrome detailing.
The third release is brand new for 2015. Dubbed the “Three Time’s A Charm”, the kicks play off of the Bull’s first three-peat, which MJ capped in the Air Jordan 8 against the Phoenix Suns.
Set in a black and white, the kicks are accented with Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns colors, representing the Bulls NBA Finals foes in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Topping off the look, a release specific tongue logo has been created with the Jumpman infrared set against a yellow hoop.
Stay tuned for release specifics later in the year.
