adidas Originals is celebrating 420 this year with a themed release of the Samba. The famed low-top is dressed in purple and grey for the release on a translucent sole. The design subtly evokes strains of marijuana and the culture associated with it. The grey and translucent elements also serve a symbolic purpose, referencing smoke and water.

The subtle design could lead many to question its origins and say that you are reading too much into it, perhaps accusing you of being influenced by purple haze. At that point, just kick up your feet to reveal the 4 and 20 printed on the sneaker’s sole.

You can pick up the sneaker on the 20th of April at shops that include Melbourne based UpThere.
