Vans Sk8 Hi "Mr. Natural" x Robert Crumb

“Counter Culture” comic artist Robert Crumb’s work will soon be featured on a collection of Vans sneakers.

Among the sneakers is the Mr. Natural deconstructed Sk8 Hi seen here, which will cost $60. The sneaker’s upper is almost all white allowing a comic representation of Mr. Natural.

Also releasing is a Vans Slip-On featuring Fritz the Cat, a character, which inspired the first x-rataed animated film. The pair will run you $52.

The two remaining sneakers from the pack are from the premium Vans Vault line in leather and suede. The “Modern America” Chukka boot, which will run you $95 and the “Keep on Truckin” Authentic for $90.

All of the sneakers will release on the 1st of October 2009, with the first two mentioned available at shops that carry Vans, and the last two available at shops that carry Vans Vault products.

  1. [...] Vans has collaborated with Counter Culture artist Robert Crumb for a line of sneakers that are looking to be very interesting. The first shoe that we have seen from this collection is the Mr. Natural Sk8 Hi, which is almost all white. Keep an eye out for the upcoming Slip-On, which will feature Fritz the Cat, the star of the first ever x-rated cartoon. [EUKicks] [...]
