In May we reported that Vans had produced a pack of sneakers inspired by the pioneering band Pixies. The kicks are specifically inspired by the 1997 compilation album "Death to the Pixies". The pack includes both the Vans Sk8 Hi and Vans Slip-On, which both come come black with Pixies inspired graphics. The Vans Sk8 Hi "Pixies" is now available in Japan at Ripe.

The anticipated release of the three pack of Vans styled by Dutch artist Parra is upon us. The pack includes the Vans Sk8 Hi, Vans Era, and Vans Chukka all featuring the trademark colors and illustrative style of Parra.
The kicks are now available at French based shop Rice and Beans.
California Skateboarder Jason Jessee has hooked up with the Vans Syndicate line on a set of Sk8 Hi. The kicks come in both brown and black full grain leather that promise comfort and durability for skating or biking.

Just about every major city has at one point released a city pack taking inspiration from some aspect of a given city. Vans is gearing up to release a city pack as part of its fall 2009 collection. In the mix are four american cities, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Each city has inspired a pack of two Vans sneakers and a t-shirt.

A glimpse of the latest collaborative pack between Vans and Dutch artist Parra recently surfaced online. Now we have a full blown look at the pack which includes pairs of the Vans Chukka, Sk8 Hi and Era. A matching t-shirt is also releasing along with the kicks.
The pack is expected to release between June and July 2009.
