Earlier this month we previewed the Uslu Airlines Reebok affili'art collection, which featured the Reebok Retroball and the Courtee Mid. Today we have a second look at the Reebok Courtee Mid designed by Feride Uslu that comes in a white base with a beige Uslu Airlines all over glow-in-the-dark print. The kicks are part of the Reebok spring / summer 2010 collection, we will keep you posted when they release.
Having first made a name for itself in the sneaker world with a contribution to the Nike 1World Air Force 1 collection, Berlin based Uslu Airlines has now teamed up with Reebok.
The final product is two Reeboks in bold styles. The Reebok Retroball takes its design inspiration from a disco ball in reflective mirror-like silver. The kicks also feature a strap.
The second pair features a less flashy design of the Reebok Cortney Mid. The kicks come in white and beige with a subtle yet dominant print of the Uslu Airlines logo on the kicks.
Look for the kicks to release as part of the Reebok Spring / Summer 2010.
Last month the Nike 1World Air Force 1 High x Uslu Airlines released at sneaker shops with Nike Tier Zero accounts. The kicks were not available online for their initial release but now they are available online from Paris based Colette and Stockholm based SNS.
Berlin based Feride Uslu of fashion label Uslu Airlines is the latest participant in the Nike 1World Project.
With both the names of the Nike Air Force 1 and Uslu Airlines inspired by planes, the look and style of these Nike Force 1 Highs do too. From green tongue referencing green signal towers found at airports, the sheep lining on the kicks are the same used on those of pilots seats, and number of other references to aviation.
The kicks will release on the 3rd of April at Wood Wood in Berlin at the official drop party...then on the 11th of April the kicks will release at sneaker shops with Nike Tier Zero accounts around the globe.
