As expected at the initial release of the Nike Hyper Dunk “McFly” at Undefeated in Santa Monica California, Kobe Bryant showed up as a special guest. Kobe showed up in style an old school DMC Delorean paying homage to The Back to the Future film, which inspired the colorway of the kicks. The first ten people in line after a wait of over 24 hours got to meet Kobe and get his autograph.

Back in the day 213 was only area code that served Los Angeles today the city’s area code divide the city. Although The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is no longer 213 the LA based sneaker shop Undefeated has chosen to use symbols from the cities past in designing the Nike Blazer High “LAX”. The kicks come in a black and white colorway and features a transparent plastic swoosh. The kicks released over this past weekend exclusively at Undefeated locations in Los Angeles.

With the Los Angeles Lakers losing the finals to the Boston Celtics, now is a period of mourning in Los Angeles. While Laker fans discuss the team’s chances for next season, the Los Angeles based Undefeated has release a shirt in Laker purple and gold. The shirt not only pays tribute the Lakers but also LA’s own Ice Cube and his classic west coast track It Was A Good Day where Cube boasts “Last Week Fucked Around and Got a Triple Double”.
