Paris based Colette has created a window display to promote the Reebok Pump 20th anniversary collection. The display features all of the Reebok Pumps from the collection orbiting around the globe, a reference to the global scope of the project.

Here is a preview of "Open The Box". A documentary about sneaker culture in Germany that is said to be released online next year.
The movie covers sneaker heads stories and interviews and of course contains footage of some very decent collections.
Hopefully we will see english subtitles when the movie finally releases by next year!

When the Reebok Pump first released back in 1989, word on the playground was that the sneakers would make you fly to the hoop. Two years later, Dee Brown pumped his Reebok Omni Lites and flew to the rim with a crazy no look dunk, which won him that years NBA All Star Game Slam Dunk Contest. Last week we posted images from the Nike Air Pegasus 89 "Berlin Wall" launch events, which included a display of the sneaker's influences and a party.
Nike Sportswear has produced a video documenting the events and the sneakers.

Bilingual French magazine Shoes-Up has just released its 24th issue. Inside you will find interviews with Keith Hufnagel, Tony Alva, Futura, and Gilles Vidal. With Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, passing away in August this year (we reported about it) the sneaker "community" has lost one of their big figures.
Now news have it that DJ AMs sneaker collection will be sold via an ebay auction, starting Sunday November 15th. All proceeds from the auction will go to the DJ AM Memorial fund which "maintains the legacy of Adam Goldstein and his commitment to helping others struggling with addiction.".
No word on if the collection will be put up as one auction or if the sneakers will be sold piece by piece.
The auction will be put up by DJ AM Memorial Fund.
