Los Angeles based fashion label Hellz Bellz has collaborated with Reebok on the Top Down. The kicks feature a subtle black and white look with studs associated with Punk and Heavy Metal Rock on the side panel. Other than the Studs, the sneakers uniqueness is derived from the print on the inner lining and "HELLZ" on the heel. The kicks are now available at Caliroots.
The late Jean-Michel Basquiat is rooted in the New York street art scene beginning his career with Graffiti. Basquiat was then embraced by the New York art scene of the 1980's as a Neo-expressionist.
Basquiat's legacy is still felt today and this is evident with the recent collection of Reebok sneakers inspired by the work of the artist. The latest pair of kicks from the collection is the Reebok Top Down, which has just released in two colorways. One of the kicks comes in white while the other in turquoise with both featuring bold use of Basquiat's artwork. Both pairs are now available and can be found at Paris based Colette for 70 euros.
