Nike Air Maxim 1+ x Parra | Detailed Images

Last week we posted that the Nike Air Maxim 1 designed by Dutch artist Parra had released at select sneaker shops. Now we have a detailed look at the sneaker, which is the first collaborative release of the sneaker. The Nike Air Maxim 1+ x Parra is now available at SNS.

Parra styled the sneaker in a black upper with minimal red and blue contrast stitching. The shade of blue is also seen on the top eyelet, the striped laces, and the Nike logo on the heel. The kicks rest on a black midsole speckled in red and blue. The tongue features a logo for the “Lovely Loners”, Parra’s collection for the Nike Sportswear fall / winter 2009 collection.

Sneakerness 10th October, Vienna/Austria | Nike Update

As you might already know the Sneakerness convention is coming to Vienna/Austria (Europe) this saturday, October 10th (we have covered this earlier). And since the countdown is ticking down the last days faster and faster you can feel the excitement already here in Vienna.

Today we got some additional information from Nike about what we can expect to be presented at the convention from them:
The main focus is on the classic Tinker Hatfield Nike Air Max 1, which celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year.
Therefore the a never released Air Max 1 designed by Netherlands own infamous streetart stylist and sneakerhead Parra will be presented. Also pictures and the stories of Parra and the Air Max 1 will be exhibited.

Besides Parra, famous viennese residents like DJ Buzz (Waxolutionists), DJ Beware and Florian Horwath will share insight on how the classic sneaker had impact on their lifes.

Visitors can check into the NikeID lab at the spot and design their own personal sneaker.
In order to represent Vienna Nikes exibition booth will be designed by El Lasso, from Inoperable.

Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra | Now Available

Last month we reported that the Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra would release in October. And today, the first day of October the sneakers are now available in Southern California at Proper.

The kicks are the the third colorway of the Nike Air Maxim 1 and the first collaborative edition of the sneaker. The kicks come in a black base with light blue and red contrast stitching on the upper with the same colors speckled on the midsole. The kicks also feature Dutch artist Parra’s signature style artwork on the tongue and black laces striped in blue.

Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra | Release Date

After months of anticipation we can finally announce a release of the Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra. The kicks are expected to release in the UK at the beginning of October.

The kicks are the third colorway of the Nike Air Maxim 1 and the first colorway to be created as a collaborative releases.

As an Air Maxim, the sneakers feature the infusion new sneaker technology including flywire and a lunar sole unit.

In terms of design, Dutch artist Parra used a majority black look with with red and sea green accents. The accents can be seen as speckles on the midsole, stitching on the upper and other touches from the tongue to the heel.

The kicks be stocked by various sneaker shops included Newcastle based End.

With the Nike Air Maxim 1 having already released in the two OG Nike Air Max 1 colorways, What is next for the sneaker?

Nike has commissioned Dutch artist Parra to style the sneakers. Parra has chosen to set the sneaker in black with red and sea green accents seen on the speckled sole and stitching. The tongue is where you see Parra’s trademark style.

A release date has yet to be announced but expect these to release this year. We will keep you posted when they hit sneaker shops.

The Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra will release with matching Nike Apparel.

Nike Organic Cotton Tee x Parra

Winning is not everything and sometimes you have to lose to win, are two sayings to ease the pain of a loss. Dutch artist Parra has teamed up with Nike to produce an apparel collection on based on the theme of losing in sports. The collection includes a hoody, jacket and t-shirt. We here have a look at the t-shirt that is constructed in in organic cotton in black. The tee will also release in a dark heather grey and cherrywood red colors. Look for these to release at the end of 2009.

Also look out for the Nike Air Maxim 1 x Parra to release in the near future.
