The kicks for the bronze medal comes in a clean swan, metallic hazelnut, and bone colorway. The kicks representing the gold medal come in black, metallic gold, and white colors. Here is the latest pair of Air Jordan 1, which comes in a white/metallic gold/silver colorway. The kicks take their inspiration from the 1992 Olympic Summer games in Barcelona where Michael Jordan and the US Dream Team took the gold medal. The kicks are only available in kid’s sizes.

One of the most recognized political gestures to take place in Olympic history in 1968 when the American track athlete Tommie Smith Held his fist in the air while barefoot on the first place podium during the playing of the national anthem. He was banned for his political statement, which called attention to oppression faced by black people during the era. Adidas is honoring Smith a collection of Suedes, which feature a fist monogram. The first pair in black will release latter this month while the Red Suede will release in August 2008.
