Nike Big Nike Low LE "Oakland Raiders"

This year Nike has focused a number of its releases around Bo Jackson, with several of them in Oakland Raiders' Silver and Black.

The latest Silver & Black release is the Nike Big Nike Low. The majority of the kicks are built in black canvas with the side panel and toe-box in silver covered by a netted mesh overlay. The kicks rest on a silver outsole and the heel has a Raiders shield in silver with Nike black lettering in place of the usual "NIKE" on the heel.

Look for these to release on the 27th of November at the House of Hoops.

Nike Air Trainer SC "34" x Bo Jackson x Oakland Raiders

This year Nike is paying homage to one of its most iconic athletes, Bo Jackson, with a series of releases. Earlier this year Bo Jackson's signature sneaker the Nike Air Trainer SC released in its original colorway.

Also this year Nike released a number of sneakers themed around "Tecmo Bo", Jackson's digital representation in the cult video game classic Tecmo Bowl. Included in the "Tecmo Bo" releases:

Nike Air Trainer II (2) “Tecmo Bo” | Silver / White

Nike Blazer Mid “Tecmo Bo” | Kansas City Royals

Nike Air Trainer II (2) LE | Bo Jackson / Oakland Raiders

Now, the Nike Air Trainer SC has released in an Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders colorways inspired by the team where Jackson spent his career. The kicks are a clear homage to Bo with his number embroidered on the heel. The sneakers have now released and are available at sneaker shops, such as 21 Mercer in NYC.

Nike Air Trainer II "Tecmo Bo" | Silver / White

Here are some detailed images of the Nike Air Trainer II "Tecmo Bo" in a silver and white colorway that released over the weekend. The sneaker's colorway is a reference to the Oakland Raiders, the former team of Bo Jackson. The tongue features a pixelated "Tecmo Bo" a reference to the classic Nintendo game "Tecmo Bowl". Check out the Nike Air Trainer II "Tecmo Bo" Silver & Black. Both pairs are now available at such shops as New York state based Sneaker Bistro.

Nike Sky Force High "Tecmo Bowl"

The American Football video game Tecmo Bowl is a cult classic and despite its simple block like graphics still inspires gameplay. The game is being recognized by Nike along with Bo Jackson with the Tecmo Bowl pack.

The pack includes the Nike Air Trainer 2 LE in an Oakland Raiders colorway.
The Nike Sky Force High has also been styled in a Tecmo Bowl style with the use of a block graphic design on the side panel. The kicks also come in a black and silver colorway referencing Bo Jackson's Oakland Raiders.

The kicks are a sample and may not release, we will keep you posted if they release.

We recently posted the Nike Air Trainer SC once worn by the legendary Bo Jackson in an Oakland Raiders colorway. Nike is once again looking back on Jackson who was gearing up to be the football and baseball equivalent of Michael Jordan before a devastating injury.

The Nike Air Trainer II, is also getting the Oakland Raiders treatment with a black, metallic silver and white colorway.

An added touch to the sneaker is on the tongue, which features a pixelated Bo Jackson in silver and black known as Tecmo Bo. Tecmo Bo is a nod to the classic Nintendo football game Tecmo Bowl.

The kicks are set to release in July, among the shops carrying the kicks will be footlocker.

Nike Air Trainer SC "Oakland Raiders"

During the late 80's and early 90's it looked like the Los Angeles Raiders were on the verge of dominance, with running back Bo Jackson tearing up the field. Those days are gone, Bo got injured and the Raiders are still trying to continue their commitment to excellence, despite losing records.

The glory days when "Bo Knew" have not been forgotten at Beaverton. Nike is set to release the Air Trainer SC, the signature sneaker of Bo Jackson in an Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders colorway of black and grey. Expect to see these to release during the holiday season, as the perfect gift for a sneaker head who bleeds silver and black.
