The following the Thanksgiving in the US is known as Black Friday. The day is an unofficial shopping holiday and this year Nike is getting in to the mix. Nike has commissioned DJ Clark Kent to produce a pair of Nike Air Force 1’s. Kent describes his creation as “Something Black, Luxurious & Fly”. The kicks will release on the 28th of November in three locations. First at Nike Sportswear NYC at 4 in the morning, then at 11 in the morning at Concepts in Boston and finally at Shoe Gallery in Miami at 8 in the evening.

If you miss the kicks on Black Friday they will release at select locations on the 20th of December.

Here is some release date news in regards Nike 1World. The pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows designed by the man behind KRINK, Craig “KR” Costello for the Nike 1World project. The kicks, which feature the KRINK signature drip pattern will release on the 29th of November at select shops in the US. If you are in NYC head to Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer.

The Air Jordan 1 High Strap is set to release tomorrow in three colorways. Brand Jordan has chosen to add a detachable strap to the classics. The kicks will be available the 22nd of November 2008 at shops like Proper.

The Air Jordan 11/ 12 Countdown pack has just a little over a month before it is released. It is the 10th Countdown pack to release and unquestionably the most anticipated. The rarely released Air Jordan XI, in a black, true red and white colorway will release with the Air Jordan XII in a black, varsity red and cement grey colorway. The pack will release on the 26th of December for $310, and will with out question sell out quickly.

Made For Skate is the name of the book and exhibition, which chronicles the history of footwear used since the birth of skateboarding. The event begins on the 30th of November and runs until the 4th of January in Amsterdam. Nike will host a Pop-Up during the event and will release a pair of Nike Blazers based on the colorway of the first skate shoe. The kicks are limited to a 24 pair release.
