On the 11th of June 1996, Kobe Bryant was drafted out of high school by the Charlotte Hornets before Jerry West worked his magic. To mark this the Nike Zoom Kobe IV comes in a Charlotte Hornets colorway, which would go well with the a Minneapolis Lakers throwback. No word when these will release.

Here is a preview of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV in a blue and white colorway with touches of red. The kicks have been dubbed "Philly" as they were made to honor the city of Bryant's birth and upbringing, Philadelphia.
The kicks are styled with stars, which along with its colors references the city's role in the birth of the USA. The insole reads "8-23-78" Kobe's birthday, it would make sense if the kicks released around that date. You can pick them up early at marqueesole.
