As we just posted the Nike Harajuku shop in Tokyo doors will open on the 14th of November 2009. To celebrate the event, two sneakers were commissioned. The Nike Trainer 1 has been styled in white, silver, blue and yellow designed by Yu Darvish. Yuta Tabuse, the first Japanese basketball player to play in the NBA hooked up a golden pair of Nike Air Zoom Brave III.
Last week we posted the Nike Trainer 1 "NYC" in Yankees colorways, the perfect sneaker to celebrate the team's 2009 baseball championship.
Nike Sportswear has also styled the high tech athletic sneaker in Los Angeles Dodgers colors. The kicks come in white leather and blue suede. The sneaker's insole features the numbers of prominent Dodgers including Jackie Robinson's number 42. The sneakers are expected to release in the coming week at sneaker shops including the House of Hoops.
Here is another new colorway release for the Nike Trainer 1.
The sneaker has a metallic silver sidepanel, black swoosh with yellow outline and grey panelling.
They are available at select Nike accounts including Atmos (JP).

Here are a few images from the Nike Sportswear "Under the Hood" event with Manny Pacquiao that took place on Saturday in Los Angeles.
The event featured a highlight reel of Pacquiao's knock out touch, which also included a look into his training regime. At the event Pacquiao took questions from the audience, twitter and the online audience watching on Facebook. The night also included the boxer grabbing the mic and singing "Lahing Pinoy" with Melissa R. The event also had Paul Rodriguez on hand.
Check out Pacquiao's feet, he is rocking the Nike Trainer 1 made in Filipino colors for him. The sneakers are expected to release in the near future.
Nike Sportswear "Under the Hood" is expected to become a series featuring Nike athletes connecting with the sport and fashion audiences.
Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is set to fight Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas on the 14th of November.
Nike will again throw its support behind Pacquiao who recently inspired the Nike Trainer 1 "Lights Out".
Nike has again created a Trainer 1 inspired by the boxer. The kicks take their inspiration from the Filipino flag in a blend of white, blue and red.
No word on a release or availability, however Nike Sportswear Los Angeles will be hosting a Pacquiao meet-up tomorrow the 7th of November.

It appears that Nike expects the New York Yankees to win the baseball World Series, as they have timed the release of this Yankees themed sneaker just after the end the baseball championship.
The model of choice to celebrate NYC is newly developed Nike Trainer 1 Mid. The kicks come in Yankees colors in a mix of navy and white with "New" "York" on the heel. The kicks have further Yankee detailing on the tongue, with pinstripes.
You can expect these to release in the next two weeks at select shops like footlocker.
Earlier today we posted the Nike Trainer 1 "Bo Knows", which is set to release later this month. The updated version of the Nike Air Trainer 1 will also release in a color combo inspired by tennis bad boy John McEnroe.
McEnroe's Nike Trainer 1 comes in a medium grey base with chlorophyll and black accents. A tennis-man figure silhouette can be seen in the heel area of the sneaker. Other McEnroe elements include a tennis ball graphic on the insole and "Mac Knows" on the inner tongue tag. The sneakers are scheduled to release later this month at select sneaker shops including Footlocker.
