Last month we previewed the Nike SB Blazer Mid Canvas designed by Huf in a style inspired by the Converse All-Star Chuck Taylor.
If you have not been keeping track the sneakers are set to release tomorrow Saturday the 7th of November 2009. If you are not in Los Angeles or San Francisco, you are out of luck because they will be exclusively available at Huf LA and Huf SF.
We will keep you posted if the sneakers see an eventual wider regional distribution.
Here is a look at the Nike SB November 2009 sneaker collection. Of the sneakers included, we have posted previews of all of them except Nike SB P-Rod 3 in blue and black.
The collection as a whole is very strong with sneaker in colorways, which range from straightforward classic looks to interesting thematic designs.

The sneakers are now available at shops with SB accounts including NYC based DQM.
Also dropping this month is the Nike SB Dunk High RESN “Gucci” as a quickstrike.
With November just over a week away, several sneakers from the Nike SB November 2009 have just released. Among the sneakers part of the collection includes this Nike SB Blazer. The kicks come in a University of Southern California colorway with a burgundy suede upper with a gold leather Swoosh. The Nike branding on the heel and tongue also comes in golden yellow. You can find the Nike SB Blazer “USC” now in Sweden at Caliroots.
Last month we got a look at the Nike SB Blazer “Converse Chuck Taylor”, constructed in canvas in a style guided by the iconic “Chucks”. Initially when word broke that the sneakers had been created, it was assumed that they were samples never destined to release.
As it turns out the sneakers will release in both black and cream colorways. The kicks were created in collaboration with San Francisco based sneaker shop Huf. The sneakers are co-branded, with Nike on the tongue, heel tab, and heel while Huf can be seen on the heel tab label.
Two interesting Converse Chuck Taylor touches are the metal eyelets and logo on the heel of the midsole.
Huf also created some apparel, which will release with the kicks including caps, t-shirts and a jacket.
The collection is scheduled to release on the 7th of November 2009 exclusively at Huf Los Angeles and the two Huf locations in San Francisco.
The Nike Blazer SB Premium “Blood Splatter” from the Nike SB October 2009 collection is now available at sneaker shops. The kicks come in a white base with metallic silver on the Swoosh and toe of the heel. The toe-box and eyelet area are colored in cream with red accents on the heel tab and inner lining. The side panel is what defines the sneakers, with a blood splatter effect reminiscent of Dexter Morgan. You can find the sneakers now at NYC based DQM.
Over the past few weeks we have had a look at the Nike SB October 2009. In that preview we had a look at a Nike SB Dunk Low, Nike SB Dunk Mid, Nike SB Blazer, and Nike SB Zoom Classic.
Now that its October, the sneakers have widely released and are available in New York City at DQM.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is an icon in both the basketball and fashion world. Given the sneaker’s status, it has been a design inspiration for many sneakers that followed it.
Recently, the Nike Dunk High Autoclave released, which takes design cues from the Converse Check Taylor with its canvas upper, metal eyelets and vulcanized sole.
Apparently Nike SB has also taken inspiration from the Converse Chuck Taylor in this reinterpretation of the Nike Blazer. The Blazer is constructed of black canvas like the Chucks with metal eyelets and other references seen on the sole and heel.
