
Three artists were recruited to design pairs of the Nike Air Max 90 Current themed after the Olympics which is part of the Nike Sportswear Line. The kicks feature a fusion of the Air Max 90 and Nike Free and Air Presto in materials which do not use an animal products. Kevin Lyons designed the pair in mandarin, white, and anthracite and featuring a character shouting "8" which is a nod to this year olympic start date of 08.08.08. Hitomi Yokoyama designed the pair in a natural grey, white and abyss color combo which also incorporates the number "8". Ben Drury designed the kicks in the black, white and atom red color combo with an "8" design as well. All of the kicks in the pack are Nike + /iPod ready and can be purchased beginning the 8th of August 2008 at sneaker shops such as Overkill in Berlin.

The Nike Air Max Plus goes by several names, the Nike Air Max TN, Nike Air Max Tuned and Les Requins in France. Whatever you call them the sneakers have recently been fused with the Air Max 360 sole. The kicks come in a black, blue and yellow colorway. The kicks are a footlocker exclusive release and can be purchased there for $160.
