Over these past few months the Nike Big Nike has gained a dominant position in the Nike Sportswear lineup. Now the sneakers have surfaced in another colorway, this time coming a classic blend of black and blue. The kicks are constructed in black synthetic suede and blue leather, making them an option for vegans. You can find them in Long Beach at Proper.
The latest release of the Nike Big Nike High comes in a mix of leather and suede with the side panel covered in croc embossed.leather. The color combo nicely mixes white, navy, dark grey, and metallic silver. The sneakers have already surfaced in Japan at Limited Edt, expect them to release internationally before the end of the year.
During the 2009 NBA Playoffs, Nike introduced the character Lil Dez who was at constant awe at the shoe game of both Kobe Bryant and Lebron James.
Lil Dez has now inspired his very own sneaker, a Nike Big Nike High. The kicks come in a red leather upper with Lil Dez printed on the heel in place of NIKE. The tongue also features Lil Dez with his note "Congrats Kobe!" on the collar. The kicks are set to release tomorrow at sneaker shops, which include the House of Hoops and Proper.
Over the weekend the Nike Sportswear Big Nike and Blazer city pack released. The pack was created to "in celebration of American culture and the some communities whom have shaped its identity", according to Nike Sportswear.
Included in the pack are the Nike Blazer "NYC", Nike Blazer "Chicago", Nike Big Nike High "ATL", and the Nike Big Nike High "LBC". Each sneaker released at Nike Sportswear NYC at 21 Mercer. If not in NYC, each sneaker will be available only in the city that they represent.
This is just the beginning of the collection with further city themed sneakers to come.
Yesterday we gave you a look at the Nike Big Nike High "ATL". The sneakers are inspired by the city of Atlanta. The kicks feature a black colorway with gold and red accents.
The tongue features a crown along with Nike logo, a seeming reference to the Atlanta based Outkast's first album. The crown also appears on the "ATL" lettering on the heel. The side panel features a flowery print and the contrast stitching on the Swoosh is gold.
The kicks released today at shops in the US with Nike Quickstrike accounts like Atlanta based Wish.
Last week we posted that the Nike Big Nike High "Spike Lee" released. Now we have some detailed new images of the sneaker that features Spike's signature Mars Blackmon glasses in a Air Jordan 1-esque colorway.
The kicks distribution has hit Atlanta based Wish, so it should also be a shop near you as well.

Today we have a look at the Nike Big Nike High "Atlanta", which comes black and red colorway with gold contrast stitching on the Swoosh. Like the Nike Big Nike "LBC", the sneaker features the cities reference on the heel and tongue.
On the heel "ATL" is printed in gold with a crown tilting to the side, which reminisent to the art work on the first Outkast album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. The tongue features the crown with a Swoosh in the center.
The kicks are now available in NYC at 21 Mercer, however no word on wider availability. We will keep you posted.
