The sneaker's colorway is a reference to the Oakland Raiders, the former team of Bo Jackson. The tongue features a pixelated "Tecmo Bo" a reference to the classic Nintendo game "Tecmo Bowl". We recently posted the Nike Air Trainer SC once worn by the legendary Bo Jackson in an Oakland Raiders colorway. Nike is once again looking back on Jackson who was gearing up to be the football and baseball equivalent of Michael Jordan before a devastating injury.
The Nike Air Trainer II, is also getting the Oakland Raiders treatment with a black, metallic silver and white colorway.
An added touch to the sneaker is on the tongue, which features a pixelated Bo Jackson in silver and black known as Tecmo Bo. Tecmo Bo is a nod to the classic Nintendo football game Tecmo Bowl.
The kicks are set to release in July, among the shops carrying the kicks will be footlocker.
