Nike Air Trainer II (2) "Tecmo Bo" | Oakland Raiders

Nike is paying tribute to one of the brands most iconic sponsored athletes, Bo Jackson. The two Nike Air Trainer 2's incorporate two themes, the first being a colorway inspired by Jackson's old team the Oakland Raiders. The second element is a nod to Jackson's unstoppable power in the Nintendo game "Tecmo Bowl", which is evident from the pixelated Bo on the tongue.

The Nike Air Trainer 2 "Tecmo Bo" is now available in both home and away Oakland Raiders colorways. You can find them in Long Beach at Proper and at sneaker bistro in New York state.

Nike Air Trainer II LE | Bo Jackson / Oakland Raiders

We recently posted the Nike Air Trainer SC once worn by the legendary Bo Jackson in an Oakland Raiders colorway. Nike is once again looking back on Jackson who was gearing up to be the football and baseball equivalent of Michael Jordan before a devastating injury.

The Nike Air Trainer II, is also getting the Oakland Raiders treatment with a black, metallic silver and white colorway.

An added touch to the sneaker is on the tongue, which features a pixelated Bo Jackson in silver and black known as Tecmo Bo. Tecmo Bo is a nod to the classic Nintendo football game Tecmo Bowl.

The kicks are set to release in July, among the shops carrying the kicks will be footlocker.

Nike SB has officially announced their lineup of releases for the month of February 2008. In the collection is the Tiffany Dunk SB inspired Nike SB Blazer Low in a black on black colorway, the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB in a black / neon yellow colorway inspired by the 80’s hit video game “Skate or Die”. Also included the Nike SB Zoom Team Edition in a black moss/medium silver, Nike SB Air Regime in a varsity red/black colorway and the Nike SB Air Trainer 2 in an anthracite/reflective silver colorway. Many of the sneaker have already released at sneaker shops, check your local sneaker shops for availability.
