Recently the Nike Air Max 1 and Light have dominated retro Air Max runner releases from Nike Sportswear. Of the Nike Air Max 90 that we have spotted most were the hybrid versions.
Now we have a look at the classic runner in a timeless white and black colorway. The distinctive characteristic of the sneakers is the mudguard, which is covered in speckled ink blot-like black. The sneakers are now available in the UK at wellgosh.
Here is another look at the Nike Air Maxim 1 designed by Dutch artist Parra. Parra is no stranger to the sneaker world having produced a classic colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 and has another collaboration with Vans set to release in the coming weeks.
Parra is the first known artist to have his hand on the Air Maxim 1. The kicks come in a black base with red and turquoise accents including a speckled sole with both colors.

Berlin based sneaker shop Overkill has a project cooking in the shadows. Thus far they have shown images of three colorways of the Nike Air Max 1. What exactly is their secret? A collaboration? An exclusive release or what? We will let you know when word comes. Until then take a look at these Air Max 1's, the freshest comes in white with blue and pink accents.
Berlin based sneaker shop Overkill just posted a teaser image of an upcoming Nike Air Max 1. Details provided are silm, though it can be assumed that the kicks are a collaborative effort between Nike and Overkill. From the teaser the kicks look nice in a mix of materials in brow, black, yellow and orange. We will keep you posted on these kicks as the information becomes available.
Here is another JD Sports exclusive Nike Air Max 95. And like the JD Sports exclusive pair of Air Max 95's we posted a few weeks ago, the pairs sports a black dominant colorway. Unlike the previous pair this one features an upper side panel in dark grey with a geometric print. The sneaker also features minimal use of metallic gold that really pops on the dark base.
No word if this pair is exclusive to JD Sports in the UK or worldwide. The kicks are now available for £109.99.
The latest addition to the Nike Air Max legacy is the Air Max 2009. The kicks, which incorporates the Nike Flywire support system will release in a new colorway this month. The kicks come in a grey and silver upper sitting on a full length visible air unit. Footlocker will get in the colorway towards the end of the month.
The Nike Air Max Light is the progressive transformation of the Air Max 1. The sneaker has released in a large volume of color combos as it turns 20 this year. Here is a preview of the Nike Air Max Light in a white and burgundy colorway, a tribute to the Nike Air Max 1 OG colorways.
The sneaker is a premium offering in suede and mesh. The kicks are set to release in July 2009 at select shops.
