
Three artists were recruited to design pairs of the Nike Air Max 90 Current themed after the Olympics which is part of the Nike Sportswear Line. The kicks feature a fusion of the Air Max 90 and Nike Free and Air Presto in materials which do not use an animal products. Kevin Lyons designed the pair in mandarin, white, and anthracite and featuring a character shouting "8" which is a nod to this year olympic start date of 08.08.08. Hitomi Yokoyama designed the pair in a natural grey, white and abyss color combo which also incorporates the number "8". Ben Drury designed the kicks in the black, white and atom red color combo with an "8" design as well. All of the kicks in the pack are Nike + /iPod ready and can be purchased beginning the 8th of August 2008 at sneaker shops such as Overkill in Berlin.

From the Nike Sportswear collection is the Nike Air Max 90 Current in a black, anthracite and royal blue colorway. The sneakers are a hybrid creation which uses elements from the Nike Free and Nike Air Presto The kicks are made of of a mix of mesh and leather materials. The kicks are now at Purchaze.

From the Nike Sportswear Collection comes the Nike Air Max 90 Current in an infrared colorway. The kicks incorporate elements from the Nike Presto and Free. The kicks are now available at select sneaker shops for $125.

Here is another pair of kicks from the Nike Sportswear collection. The Nike Air Max 90 Current is a hybrid creation from the Nike Innovation Kitchen, which takes the Air Max 90 as a base and fuses elements from the Nike Presto, Air Flow and Free. Here is another look at what the Nike Sportswear line has in store for Fall 2008. The Nike Air Max 90 Current, which is basically a hybrid, which incorporates elements from the Nike Air Current, Nike Presto, and the Nike Free on an Air Max 90 base.
