Nike Air Max 90 Current Premium x Ben Drury

London based artist Ben Drury holds the distinction of being one of the first artist to interpret the Nike Air Max 90 Current. Nike Sportswear has once again called upon the artist to collaborate on the Air Max 90 Current.

We first got a teaser of the Nike Air Max 90 Current x Ben Drury back in April 2009. Today, the sneakers have released at Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer in New York City.

Drury styled the sneaker in a blend of leather, mesh, and nylon in a black upper. The sneaker lacks Nike branding on the tongue and and heel. On the heel a graphic can be seen on a grey panel and on the tongue of the right it reads “Trust Me” and the left reads “London”.

The sneakers have a boot like quality with a metal d-ring eyelet and boot laces. The sneakers outsole features touches of purple, a subtle splash of color to this black, grey and white sneaker.

We will keep you posted when the sneakers release outside of NYC.
