Pasadena, California native Jackie Robinson first broke the color line in Major League Baseball on the 15th of April 1947 as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Sixty two years later his legacy is still being felt as a global symbol of the individuals ability to challenge systematic injustice.

Nike has recognized Robinson's contribution to athletics in the past with the Nike Blazer "Jackie Robinson" Pack. Now we have a look at the Nike Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix, in a Los Angeles (Brooklyn) Dodgers colorway in medium grey and royal blue colorway with varsity red accents.

Robinson's number #42 is featured on the heel of the kicks and "04.15.47" on the insole.
