December is a big month for the New Balance 577, the sneaker will release in three colorways as part of the "Berlin Wall" pack x Overkill and Sneakers N' Stuff 10th Anniversary RGB pack x New Balance.
2010 also looks to be interesting for fans of the New Balance 577 with new colorways set to release as in March. The mesh and leather sneakers feature a white and khaki base with one in green and the other in red colors. We will keep you posted when the sneakers release.

1989 is a date marked in history, the year saw the release of 3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul, the release of the Reebok Pump and Nike Air Max Light.
The three releases, are bound with the time, however the most important event of the year is the fall of the Berlin Wall, which literally changed the world.
Berlin based sneaker shop Overkill has teamed up New Balance to mark the 20th anniversary of the event.
Overkill chose to give the New Balance 577 three looks that have a classic look and feel. Each sneaker comes in white and grey with one in red, black and blue.
The insoles are where the story is told with photography showing moments from the Berlin Wall's history.
Apparently the New Balance 577 SMU x Overkill “Berlin Wall” Pack will release on the 16th of December at Overkill. We will keep you posted.
Stockholm based sneaker shop Sneakers N' Stuff is this year celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion the shop is creating a pack of sneakers with frequent collaborator New Balance.
The theme of the pack is the RGB color model of Red, Green and Blue. The New Balance models chosen for inclusion are the 577, 1500 and 1700.
The New Balance 577 comes in a red colorway with white, black and grey elements. In terms of materials the kicks are composed of leather, perforated pig skin, and reflective 3M detailing.
The New Balance 1500 comes in a green and grey colorway with leather and mesh materials and touches of reflective 3M.
The New Balance 1700 comes in a color mix of dark navy, blue and yellow. In terms of material construction, the kicks are composed of vegan friendly synthetic materials.
The three sneakers were all made in England at Flimby Factory and are expected to release later this year.
While the OG colorway of the New Balance 577 in grey and navy is now avilable, the NB 577 in moss grey and black is not expected to release until July 2009. Having first released in 1989 the sneaker are celebrating 20 years of being. To mark the milestone New Balance is taking us back to the sneakers origins, releasing original colorways.
The sneakers were constructed at the Flimby factory in England and will release in limited numbers. You can pre-order them now at Hanon.
Its been twenty years since the New Balance 577 first released. All anniversaries make us look back to how it all started. New Balance is not just looking at the past but reproducing it, releasing the 577 in original color combos in suede and leather. The kicks bear the "Made in England" tag.

Scottish based Hanon is now taking pre-orders for this very stylish pair of New Balance 577. The sneakers come in original colorway of navy and grey composed of suede and mesh.
The kicks will appeal to some as they were made in England at the New Balance Flimby factory.
