Here is an update on the latest and possibly last Solebox interpretation of New Balance 1500 fittingly known as "The Finals".
The two New Balance 1500's feature a similar construction in nubuck and leather on an a gum sole. The maroon pair will release exclusively through Solebox, with a release limited to 350 pairs. The other pair in green will release around the globe at select shops.
Both sneakers are set to release on the 22nd of August.
Last month we posted that the New Balance 1500 would release this month in a black, grey and purple colorway. The sneakers have released and are now available at Newcastle based End.
The kicks come in a suede and leather construction sitting on an ENCAP cushioned sole. The kicks are a limited release and can be purchased for £75.00.
Solebox's love affair with the New Balance 1500 continues with a pack of two of the sneakers. The pairs share a gum sole, a heel in nubuck, with a leather lining. In terms of color construction both come in grey, black and white, while the heel is what separates the two with one in green and the other maroon.
Solebox claims these are their final work on the New Balance 1500, and have thus have dubbed them the "Finals."
The green version will release globally on the 22nd of August while the maroon pair will release only in Berlin at Solebox with only 350 pairs available.
Spanish sneaker shop 24 Kilates has teamed up with New Balance to produce a pair of NB 1500's. The design inspiration for the sneaker comes from the artwork of Barcelona native son Joan Miró.
The kicks release on the 11th of April 2009 at select shops including SNS in Sweden and Solebox in Germany.
This is not the first time Miró has inspired a sneaker, his work inspired the Air Jordan 7 Olympic Miró.
