Spanish NBA star Pau Gasol earlier this year got his own Nike Hypermax PE in Los Angeles Lakers colors. Gasol now has a Player Edition colorway of the Nike Hyperize Supreme.
The kicks have a white tumbled leather base with balancing purple on the side panel, outsole, tongue and lining. Laker gold is used as accents on the Swoosh and lining. Check your local sneaker shops for availability.

Official NBA sponsor adidas has created a pack of five adidas Centennial Lows to mark the beginning of the NBA season. The five colorways are based on teams that compete in the Western Conference.
The colorways are inspired by classic team colors, so the Los Angeles Lakers pair comes in blue and white the original Lakers colors. Other teams included in the pack are the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and the Denver Nuggets. The sneakers are now available at adidas Originals shops Stateside.
The Los Angeles Lakers were this year crowned NBA champions of the 2008-2009 season. As champions the Lakers have inspired a pair of adidas Superstars. The kicks are majestic, and come in metallic gold upper with purple and yellow accents. The Lakers logo can be seen on the tongue, side panel and insole that also bears the number 15, which is the number of times the Lakers have won the NBA title. In August we gave you a preview of the Nike Auto Flight "Los Angeles", which we stated would release as a quickstrike in September. We can now say that the sneakers are now available at shops with Nike Quickstrike accounts such as Cologne based TGWO for 99 euros.
The kicks come in a varsity purple colorway with varsity maize accents modeled after the team colors of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Nike Auto Flight is a stylized version of the classic basketball sneaker, the Nike Flight Lite with a tweaked upper resting on a vulcanized rubber sole.
As we previewed as part of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High summer releases, the Air Jordan 1 High Strap will soon release in a Los Angels Lakers colorway. The kicks draw their inspiration from the 1985 Lakers colorway of the Air Jordan 1 and come in grand purple andf varsity maize. The kicks are slated for a September 2009 release.
