Tonight Kanye West added another reason for his detractors to dislike the Hip Hop mogul turned fashion mogul, by bum rushing the stage at the VMA awards, to interrupt country singer Taylor Swift. A bewildered Swift stood by as Kanye stated she was undeserving of the best video by a female artist, because Beyonce had produced the best video in that category. In a class move by Beyonce, when she won the best video of the year award, she asked Swift on stage to say her piece. Kanye later apologized via his blog.
This was not best award show for Mr. West. His best appearance is arguably the 50th Grammy Awards, where Kanye first wore the Nike Air Yeezy in public. The kicks come a black leather upper with a glow-in-the-dark sole.
The very pair that Kanye West wore at the Grammy Awards is now up for auction on eBay by instyleshoes to benefit the Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Oregon.
With roughly six days until the auction ends the kicks have 17 bids with the current bid at around $2,000.
