Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache "Bacon" x DQM | Available

The wait is finally over, the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache "Bacon" x DQM has finally begun to release. The sneakers, which blend the Nike Air Max 90 with a Free sole and Nike Air Huarache detailing. The colorway takes its inspiration from the classic Nike Air Max 90 "Bacon" designed by new york based Dave's Quality Meats.

The kicks come in a mix of brown suede, light pink Swoosh, cream mesh and red detailing on the Huarache elements. You can find them in Southern California at Proper.

adidas Consortium "Your City" | Drop 2 / Preview

During the 1970's and 1980's adidas created a large catalog of sneakers named after cities around the world. adidas Originals has now created the Consortium "Your City" collection, breathing fresh life to these classic models.
adidas has recruited sneaker shops from respective cities to style the kicks giving them local legitimacy.

The first round of releases from the adidas Consortium "Your City" collection dropped in mid October. That collection included the adidas Oslo x Sole Service, adidas LA Trainer x Undefeated, adidas Berlin x Solebox, and the adidas Boston x Bodega.

This time around the selected models and cities include New York, Milan, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

adidas Milano x Slam Jam

Italy's world renowned sneaker shop Slam Jam is based in Milan, and has thus been given the task of styling the adidas Milano. The kicks feature a vibrant shade of blue covering most of sneaker in nylon. The three stripes on the side panel come in lime green leather giving the sneaker a more daring look. The tongue and eyelet areas are built in crinkle patent leather. The tongue also is branded Slam Jam. The sneakers side panel branding reads Milano and Slam Jam in gold.

adidas Stockholm x Sneakers N' Stuff

Yesterday we previewed the adidas Stockholm x Sneakers N' Stuff. Today we have a closer look at the sneaker. The sneaker is built in grey overbrushed suede with touches of yellow on the tongue and blue leather on the heel and stripes, which all rests on a gum sole. The sneakers heel features SNS branding and the gold foil on the side panel reads both Stockholm and Sneakers N' Stuff.

The original adidas Stockholm came in a blue and yellow colorway inspired by the Swedish flag. The blue and yellow are retained on the sneakers however as secondary elements. The sneakers base comes in grey, which is inspired by the cloudy winter Stockholm sky.

adidas Kopenhagen x Norse Projects

Copenhagen based shop Norse Projects profile has risen this year with their collaboration with New Balance. The shop has now been given the job of styling the adidas Kopenhagen.

The sneakers upper is colored primarily in navy blue except for yellow on the top metal eyelet and heel tab. In terms of build the sneakers are constructed in leather except for lacestays, stripes, and toe, which are made of suede. The side panel like the rest of sneakers in the collection reads Kopenhagen and Norse Projects.

adidas New York x Dave's Quality Meats

New York based DQM, which is a frequent adidas collaborator has given the undertaking of styling the adidas New York. The runner, which first surfaced in the 1980's comes in shades of black, referencing the New York blackouts. The sneakers most distinctive feature can be seen on the top four eyelets are brass d-rings, giving the kicks boot look. "New York" and "DQM" are embossed on the sneakers stripes.

Nike Dunk High x DQM Hyperstrike | Unreleased

Once upon a time Nike and New York City based shop DQM hooked up to create a Dunk High. Sadly, the release was scraped. However, today DQM revealed the unreleased Nike Dunk that comes in a black with a completely perforated upper. Word has it that the sneakers were intended to be a hyperstrike release however only 24 pairs were ever made.

Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache "Bacon" x DQM

At the beginning of September we posted a preview of the upcoming release of the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache styled after the Nike Air Max 90 "Hufquake".

Today, we have a look at the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache x DQM. The kicks feature a a colorway that blends brown, light pink, and red, that is inspired by the Dave's Quality Meats Bacon colorway. The upper takes the classic Air Max 90 upper with Air Huarache detailing on the heel and toe. The sole is the standard Air Max Current sole, which blends the Nike Free and Air Max 90 Sole.

No release date for the sneakers has been announced, however expect these to drop after the Hufquakes, which will release in October.

adidas Rod Laver | Consortium Pack

Earlier this month we posted images of the adidas Rod Laver Consortium collection. adidas has recruited Los Angeles based UNDFTD, Barcelona based LimitEDitions, Tokyo based VA, and NYC based DQM to style a pair of the classic tennis sneaker. In addition to the sneaker shop designed pairs of the Rod Laver, the original "Grass Court" colorway of the kicks has now released. The kicks are available now at select sneaker shops including Undefeated.

adidas Rod Laver x VA x DQM x UNDFTD ...

The classic adidas Rod Laver originally conceived as a tennis court has like so many of it contemporaries has been elevated to a style icon.

The kicks have just released in five colorways including its original colorway in off-white and green known as "The Grass Court".

The other four colorways have been designed by some of the top sneaker shops from around the globe. These shops include New York City based DQM that styled the Rod Laver in a simple brown colorway.

Barcelona based LimitEDitions styled the Rod Laver in red colorway with neon accents.

Los Angeles based Undefeated styled the kicks in a sand canvas with light brown leather accents.

Finally Tokyo based sneaker shop VA contribution in a simple grey upper with "VA" in yellow on the heel.

The kicks are expected to release over the next two months.

Adidas Consortium "3Way North America" | Release

The Adidas Consortium 3Way project has gathered some of the top sneaker shops in North America including Huf, DQM, UNDFTD, and Goodfoot. The ensemble cast created their own interpretation of pairs of the Adidas Stan Smith, Forum, Nizza, Samba, and Superstar.

The collection released over this weekend at select shops, including those mentioned. In Sweden you can find them at SNS and in Paris at Colette.
