The 2009 updated version of the Nike Air Trainer 1 known as the Nike Trainer 1 made its debut in the middle of the year. Since its initial release the sneaker has been relatively quite.
Now as the year is coming to a close the sneaker is going to release in a Bo Jackson inspired color combo. Jackson with such a close relationship to the Nike Air Trainer line is a natural choice.
The kicks come in a silver and black colorway, a reference to Bo's team, the Los Angeles / Oakland Raiders. The details on the kicks include a speckled cement grey midsole with the collar in an elephant print. The sneaker's insole features pixelated Bo in Kansas City Royals gear. The insole also reads "Bo Knows" a reference to the iconic ad campaign, which inspired Phife Dawg to mention it in the classic jam Scenario.
The sneakers are expected to release this month at select sneaker shops including Footlocker.
