This tuesday is election day in the United States with Barack Obama facing off with John Mccain for the presidency. The election has not gone unnoticed by Adidas, Tracy McGrady, and Kevin Garnett. Election night in Houston Texas the Boston Celtics and Kevin Garnett are going heads up with the Houston Rockets and Tracy McGrady. With both players rocking kicks made special just for the election.

Tracy McGrady will play in the Adidas TS Creator with "Change is Needed" on the heel of the sneakers representing his political opinions while Garnett will rock the Adidas TS Commander with "Embrace Change" written on his kicks.

According to Adidas the kicks is to encourage people to vote.

Adidas TS Lightswitch Gil II Zero – Black President

Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards has a slew of limited edition themed sneakers that he rocks during specific games.
The last theme of his sneaker was the Video game Halo; this time around the kicks have a political edge. With the growing chances of Barack Obama being elected as the first Black President of the United States, the kicks have been dubbed the Adidas TS Lightswitch Gil II Zero Black President. Arenas will wear the sneakers on the 10th of February 2008 against the Phoenix Suns. The kicks are set to cost $110 with 1000 pairs available around the globe. Word also has it that there is a matching t-shirt but images have yet to surface. Check your local Adidas shop for release info.
