adidas Consortium 3Way Collection | Asia Group | Release

Today, the adidas Consortium 3Way collection created by Asian based sneaker shops have released. Participants in the creation of the collection include Crooked Tongues, ACU, VA, and D-Mop. The group layed their creative touch on the adidas Samba, Forum Mid, Nizza High, and Stan Smith 80’s. All four are now available at select shops including SNS in Stockholm.

adidas Stan Smith 80s | 3Way Consortium Asia Group

Here is a look at the adidas Stan Smith 80s from the adidas Consortium 3Way Asia Group collection. The sneakers were designed by Asian shops ACU and D-Mop. The kicks come in a print, which features flowers, Chinese characters on the heel and a bird in flight, with a white base with gold and blue accents. The kicks are set to release on the 18th of July along with the other sneakers from the Asia group of the 3Way series. You will be able to find them at SNS.

adidas Forum Mid | 3Way Consortium Asia Group

In comparison to the other sneakers in adidas 3Way Consortium Asia group these adidas Forum Mids are tame. If you look at the sneakers individually you see that they are quite bold. The kicks come in a ice grey base with neon yellow accents on the stripes, laces, stitching and netting on the midsole. The kicks are creation of Crooked Tongues and VA. The sneakers are set to release on the 18th of July 2009 at shops such as SNS for 136 euros.

adidas “3Way Consortium” Samba x VA x ACU

The Asian edition of the adidas 3Way Consortium collection is by far the boldest in comparison to the European and North American sets. The adidas Samba is the strongest pair of the Asian collection with a design conceived of by sneaker shops ACU and VA. The kicks incorporate a big clear plastic window on the upper reminiscent of the “Invisible Woman” Nike Air Force 1’s. Otherwise, the kicks are constructed in in suede in a blue base with purple, yellow and neon stripes sitting on a translucent sole.

The kicks are set to release this Saturday the 18th of July at select shops such as Stockholm based SNS.

adidas “3Way” Nizza High x D-Mop x Crooked Tongues

The adidas Nizza High is one of the models chosen as part of the adidas Consortium 3Way Asia collection. London based and Thailand connected Crooked Tongues and chinese based D-Mop hooked the sneakers up in white and bluebird colorway with an extremely worn look. The kicks are set to release this Saturday the 18th of July and will be available at Stockholm based SNS.

Nike Hyperize | Asia City Pack

We recently gave you a glimpse of the Nike Hyperize “Hong Kong” from an Asia City pack. Now we have a full look at the collection which includes a pair inspired by Taiwan, Beijing, The Philippines, Hong Kong and white and gold colorway for good measure.

Out of the bunch The Philippine colorway stands out the most in a red, blue and yellow colorway, which is a better look than the soon to release Nike Hyperdunk “Philippines”.

The pack will release around Asia latter this summer.

adidas Consortium 3Way “Asian Group” Superstar 80’s

The adidas Consortium 3Way collection, has already gathered sneaker shops from North America and Europe to produce collections that were globally available.

The third go of the 3Way collection focuses on Asian sneaker shops and London based Crooked Tongues, which has ties to thailand.

Among the sneakers that the group focused was adidas Superstar 80’s. Seen after the jump are five off-white nubuck Superstars. The defining element of each sneaker is the tongue.

The four shops styled their individual tongues and the fifth represents all of the shops, which include ACU, D-Mop, VA and Crooked Tongues.

The kicks are set to release on the 18th of July 2009.
