Nike Air Max Lebron VII “NYC” x Matsu
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 | Posted in NikeAs we have seen before select cities around the globe have gotten the Nike Air Max Lebron VII in two city versions, one by a local artist and another inspired by the film “More Than a Game”. We have already seen the Nike Air Max Lebron “New York” by “More than a Game” edition, now we have a look at the the custom artist piece.
The kicks were created by NYC based artist Tomokazu Matsuyama dubbed “fearless”. The kicks come in a super clean white base with the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the upper created with tiny crystals. The numbers are important to the Japanese Buddhist faith specifically their concept of reincarnation.

Michael Jordan Poster x Shepard Fairey
Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 | Posted in Sneaker NewsStreet artist Shepard Fairey originally gained fame as the designer behind Obey. Recently Fairey’s prominence was elevated to the mainstream with his “Hope” Obama graphic used to support the election of Barack Obama.
Fairey’s latest project is a 18″ x 24″ poster of Michael Jordan in mid flight going towards the rim, produced in layered stencil. The moment of the announcement of the poster coincides with MJ’s entry into the basketball hall of fame.

Playboy Magazine | Beauties + Kicks
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 | Posted in Sneaker News
Playboy magazine has a reputation of showing corn fed hot blondes from Iowa with all of their midwestern charms on full display. The question on what to add to improve such photos has lingered for years. The answer of course is nothing they already shine bright.
Well how about some dope kicks then, will that add the allure of the beauties? Well no, but its a great way to find out the latest kicks to release. So great move by Playboy in adding a chicks with kicks pictorial.
Check out more Maxim-esque (sorry full charms are not on display) photos after the jump.
