Nike has waited until the fourth quarter to release many of the years hottest sneakers, from the Nike SB Dunk High "Gucci" to the Nike East vs. West rivalry pack. Jordan Brand is on the same wavelength, with the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" set to release in December.
The most second most exciting Air Jordan Retro sneaker to release as the year eases to a finish is the Air Jordan 12 Retro "Flu Game". The sneaker has now released in Europe and is available in Stockholm at SNS.
Here are some new images that just surfaced of upcoming the Air Jordan 12 Retro "White / Varsity Red". The kicks are an original colorway of the Air Jordan 12 are seeing their first retro release later this year. The kicks are scheduled to release on the 19th of December, however osneaker has a few sizes now available though at a premium price.
Jordan Brand's sneaker of focus this year is the Air Jordan 12. Earlier this year the Air Jordan 12 "Nubuck" released and coming very soon are the Air Jordan 12 "Rising Sun", Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" and the Air Jordan 12 White / Red.
If that were not enough to quench your thirst for the Air Jordan 12, the sneaker will also release in black nubuck and black leather construction siting on a varsity purple sole. Unfortunately for those of us with big feet these will only release in GS sizes.

In addition to the Air Jordan 12 "Nubuck" and Air Jordan 12 "Rising Sun", the classic Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" will also release this year. The kicks are the colorway that Michael Jordan wore against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals, scoring 38 points despite have the flu.
The sneakers will release this coming November.
The Air Jordan XII Retro "Rising Sun" is set to release in October 2009. The kicks draw their design inspiration from the classic Japanese flag with alternating perforated leather on the upper panels creating a sun ray effect. Also the red accents are a reference to the flag as is the insole.

Last month the Air Jordan 12 Retro "Nubuck" released in a black and university blue colorway. The release was calm in comparison to Jordan retro releases of the past and this year's Air Yeezy release. The demand for the kicks has been so low that Nike still has almost every size available online.

Today is a pretty interesting day, as there are four notable sneaker related events, which will take place.
1. Oqium Rotterdam is having a party to mark the sneaker shops launch. If you have to pick up the Air Jordan V Ragging Bull pack they will have both pairs available.
2. The Air Jordan XII "Nubuck" is set to release.
3. The Nike 1World Air Force 1 created by Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand. The kicks will release in limited numbers at European shops with Nike Tier Zero accounts.
4. At the Size? in Manchester, the Adidas Forest Hill x "Awaydays" limited edition pack will release.
