The Air Jordan x Air Force 1 fusion collection has received a unified thumbs downs from purists and a mixed reception from casual sneaker-heads. This lack of interest in the line is probably the reason why the Air Jordan 13 Fusion is only receiving a two colorway release as part of the Jordan Brand Holiday 2009 collection.
The first colorway from the collection, which comes in a white, black and varsity red is set to widely release today in the US at shops that carry Jordan Brand sneakers.
Jordan Brand has focused on fusing its classics with the Nike Air Force 1 this year. Most recently, we saw the release of the Air Jordan 4 Fusion. Next up to be fused with Air Force 1 is the Air Jordan 13. Jordan Brand has styled the fusion in a classic Air Jordan 13 colorway in a black, white and varsity red colorway. The sneakers are set to release on the 21st of November, however they now available for pre-order at City Sole.
Air Jordan XIII is the latest Air Jordan Retro model to be fused with the Nike Air Force 1. Jordan Brand has chosen to release the Air Jordan 13 Fusion in two classic Air Jordan XIII colorways. The white, black and varsity red colorway is set to release on the 21st of November in the States however they are currently available in Europe. The second pair comes in a black and varsity red colorway, which is set to release sometime in December 2009.
With the first pair from the Air Jordan 4 Fusion collection presently in sneaker shops, we look to see what is next for the Air Jordan and Air Force 1 fusions. The Air Jordan 13 will next be mixed with the Nike Air Force 1. The colorways are inspired by classic color combos of the Air Jordan XIII in black / varsity red and white / black / varsity red. Both kicks are expected to release during the last two months of year, we will keep you posted.
