adidas Originals x Star Wars | Spring 2010 Collection

In June, we posted word that the classic Stars Wars franchise was in the works of being fused with adidas footwear and apparel. Today, we have some teaser images from the collection.

On the apparel side, we have a look at a Stormtrooper hoodie and Star Wars t-shirt. As for the sneakers we have a look at two kicks inspired by the light side of the Force. Yoda has inspired an adidas ZX 700 Boat sneaker while the Luke Skywalker character also inspired a sneaker.

The collection is set to begin to release in January 2010.

adidas Originals Superstar "Los Angeles Lakers"

The Los Angeles Lakers were this year crowned NBA champions of the 2008-2009 season. As champions the Lakers have inspired a pair of adidas Superstars. The kicks are majestic, and come in metallic gold upper with purple and yellow accents. The Lakers logo can be seen on the tongue, side panel and insole that also bears the number 15, which is the number of times the Lakers have won the NBA title. The adidas Samba dates back 60 years ago when it made its debut as a football sneaker. The kicks have just released in a suede and leather build in a colorway reminiscent to the Boston Celtics in green and black. You can find them now in Dusseldorf at Schuh You.

With the adidas Top Ten basketball sneaker celebrating its 30th anniversary this year we have seen numerous colorways of the kicks release. Among the colorways to release were several 30th anniversary editions including the adidas Top Ten "White / Navy / Red" and the adidas Top Ten "White / Cream / Grey".

A third 30 anniversary edition adidas Top Ten has now released in black with red and blue accents in a leather, patent and suede build. You can find the sneakers now in Atlanta at Wish.

Adidas Originals Stan Smith II and Superstar II | Season Greetings Edition

Adidas jumps into the race of X-Mas seasonal greetings early this year by releasing two of their core models in Santa-like colorways.

The Stan Smith II comes in green suede upper with red sockliner and white sole. Gold is used for accent pops at the back and for the top lace eyelet. The sneakers also come with extra red laces.

The Superstar II is quite the opposite of the Stan Smith. It has a red suede upper with green sockliner and black obligatory stripes at the sidepanel. Again gold was used for the finishing touch.

Both sneakers come with an Adidas Santa-Mouse-Toy.

adidas Originals Top Ten High | Royal Blue

Back in 1979 adidas debuted the Top Ten High, a sneaker that was set to become a classic. This year adidas has released several colorways of the kicks to mark its 30th anniversary. These come in a royal blue and white colorway. You can pick them up now at Caliroots for 80 euros.
