adidas Conductor High “Big Tongue” x Jeremy Scott

In August we gave a you a preview of the adidas Originals Conductor High “Big Tongue” x Jeremy Scott. The sneakers have now released as part of the second wave of the adidas Originals by Originals Fall / Winter 2009 x Jeremy Scott collection, along with the adidas Attitude JS Wings x Jeremy Scott.

The sneaker takes the classic adidas Conductor Hi made for the basketball court and extends the tongue to the toe. The big tongue is held in place by a buckle. The sneaker is part of the continued development of classic adidas basketball footwear by American Designer Jeremy Scott. The sneaker comes in two colorways, one in all black and the other in a black base with white accents.

Both colorways are now available at Cologne based TGWO for 199 euros.

adidas Conductor High “Herringbone”

Here is an interesting material mix, leather and herringbone. Herringbone is an old school fabric, with wool as its base the fabric is known its v shaped woven design. The material has classically been used on suits and jackets now is seen on the adidas Conductor High.

The sneaker is constructed in back leather with white and black herringbone on the toebox, side panel, and tongue. The kicks also have dark chili red accents on the upper and side panel.

adidas “Patrick Ewing” Conductor High | OG Knicks Colorway

During the mythic late 1980’s period of the NBA, Patrick Ewing was a dominant force in the Eastern Conference. During two years of his dominance his signature sneaker was the adidas Conductor Hi.

adidas is taking us back to those days with the retro release of the adidas Conductor High in an Original white, royal and orange New York Knicks colorway. Absent from the retro release is the Patrick Ewing logo with the adidas Trefoil in its place.

The kicks are now available at German based Schuh You.

Adidas Conductor High “Olympic”

The UK based sneaker shop Ryouki just got in some new Adidas. The Adidas Conductor High “Olympic” in both a black and white colorway in premium leather. It’s interesting to note that NBA legend Patrick Ewing rocked these kicks back 1987 as his signature shoe.
