The Lovikka edition of the Converse Chuck Taylor created by Sneakersnstuff dropped two years ago, set in a creamy knitted textile. The source of the inspiration for the sneaker dates back to pre-industria Sweden, when a women named Erika Aittamaa created the Lovikka mitten.
Back by popular demand, SNS has hooked up a sequel, which retains the style of the original:
Almost everything is the same, the iconic mitten design is translated onto the vintage specialty Chuck Taylor sole, the accent embroidery and crafted details is there, the red/yellow/blue printed pinstripe on the midsole is there and the signature Lovikka tassel on the heel-stay is of course there!
The difference lies in the base color as the sneaker trades off-white for grey melange. A release date is set for 13th of December in-shop at 11:00 CET and then online at 12:00 CET.
