adidas ObyO Jeremy Scott Bear
Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals have been putting in work since the Forum Hi in 2002, but their ObyO line that launched in 2009 was mutually beneficial for both partners. Seen on the feet of Lil' Wayne and A$AP Rocky, as well as a host of celebrities, the wilful strangeness of these remixes has given them a certain high-end b-boy flavour that's shifting units. The Jeremy Scott Bear shoe has become a trademark part of the brand, remixing the Metro Attitude in a< psychedelic faux-fur. Pointer Tenzing
The Pointer Tenzing is another Portugese-made addition to the brand's increasingly strong armada of premium sihlhouettes. This low-cut hiker design's weatherproof without looking too all terrain and it's surprisingly lightweight too. The material on the upper and collar's on point, but the D-ring lacing and chunky but light sole are the highlights here. It just looks right from the top down. These fit true to size.
New Balance Made In The Usa 996 M996dg
The New Balance 996 was introduced in 1988 and helped define the NB running line around that time with a clean mix of classic looks and technical details. C-Cap, the Scotchlite trim that became a norm and ENCAP all made this an important moment in shoe history. Now it's back and while it isn't cheap, this US-made 996DG version is impeccable in its quality and a comfortable wear with longevity. These fit true to size and supplies are limited.
