Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals have been putting in work since the Forum Hi in 2002, but their ObyO line that launched in 2009 was mutually beneficial for both partners. Seen on the feet of Lil' Wayne and A$AP Rocky, as well as a host of celebrities, the wilful strangeness of these remixes has given them a certain high-end b-boy flavour that's shifting units. The Jeremy Scott Bear shoe has become a trademark part of the brand, remixing the Metro Attitude in a< psychedelic faux-fur. As with many adidas Originals designs we recommend going half a size up on these for an optimum fit.
The Pointer Tenzing is another Portugese-made addition to the brand's increasingly strong armada of premium sihlhouettes. This low-cut hiker design's weatherproof without looking too all terrain and it's surprisingly lightweight too. The material on the upper and collar's on point, but the D-ring lacing and chunky but light sole are the highlights here. It just looks right from the top down. These fit true to size.
The New Balance 996 was introduced in 1988 and helped define the NB running line around that time with a clean mix of classic looks and technical details. C-Cap, the Scotchlite trim that became a norm and ENCAP all made this an important moment in shoe history. Now it's back and while it isn't cheap, this US-made 996DG version is impeccable in its quality and a comfortable wear with longevity. These fit true to size and supplies are limited.
The Nike Sportswear Meriwether is built on the TrailFrame ACG platform. Partnered with a breathable mesh liner and lightweight feel that's comfortable without compromising strength, TrailFrame elevates the hiking boot look to the next level. D-ring fastening is about as traditional as the Nike Sportswear Merriweather gets - the wraparound tongue application keeps the forefoot waterproof, while a waterproof zipper applied on the medial side of the shoe is a quick release and easy entry detail for ease-of-use, inspired by technical jackets and baggage.

1988's New Balance 576 was received well, but it was a late '90s revival of enviable proportions that really set it off. It's a kick that has it all and is supremely versatile in any colour scheme or material. This Flimby 30th Anniversary edition pays tribute to the 1982 opening of the famed Lake District facility that made the 576 a speciality in premium materials and neutral tones. These fit true to size.
Carhartt is one of the definitive apparel brands. Functional, timeless and steeped in subcultural clout, from hip-hop videos to those costly early '90s imports, they've used their legacy wisely to create an expansive and essential range. The cord-collared Michigan Coat is made of unlined cotton canvas, with riveted construction and an all-over Island Camo pattern.
The adidas ZX 500 has long been an office favourite and this Consortium version takes the shoe back to its 1984 form, from the nipple sole to the dual density midsole, heel support device, two type of nylon mesh and suede panels. Crucuially, it restores the original Tech Chrome and Medium Lead OG colourways and the original shape and feel of this masterpiece. Numbers are limited and we recommend going up half a size for an optimum fit.
Stevie Williams is one of our favourite skaters and regardless of how underwhelming The Carter IV was, we like Lil Wayne a lot too. Weezy hope on a lot of remixes and he's hopped on this blood red presidential take on Williams' S1W model. The white accents, red suede and leather, Jordan-style cues, the flip down heel tab and SUPRAFOAM technology make this one of the finest Supra designs to date. These fit true to size.
How do you prefer your Nike Dunk? Hi or low? It's open to argument. Some prefer the hi-topped, more iconic look, while some deem a low cut more accessible. The sheer volume of colourways available means there's something for everyone, and this colourway goes back to the source, with the woven label, original college style colour scheme and classic look. These Quickstrike editions mix up the colours with a suede upper and these fit true to size.
The adidas ZX 500 hit shelves in 1984, as a perfect shoe for high mileage running, with a combination of aesthetic appeal and bio-mechanical benefits. The combination midsole featured a heel counter to give the wearer maximum stability. This colourway and material mix brings out the best in this model.
Badminton kingpin Jack Purcell was good. So good in fact, that onetime tire company B.F. Goodrich gave him a signature shoe back in the mid '30s. His iconic design, with it's forefoot 'smile', transcended Jack's career post-retirement, becoming a performance tennis piece too, and Converse snapped up the rights to make the shoe in the '70s. It's another classic that refuses to age. Periodically these become hard-to-obtain in certain colours, but supplies have been pretty plentiful lately, and these slightly washed-out canvas versions are killer. these fit true to size.
Philadelphia's Mitchell & Ness do snapbacks impeccably, with the same attention that they've lavished on jerseys, vests and other textbook examples of sporting heritage over the last few decades. Having been in business since 1902, they know what they're doing. These Syracuse University themed basic logo snapbacks are the classic build and silhouette, finished off with the Mitchell & Ness branding on the back as a mark of quality. Your head's important, so it deserves the very best perched on it. One size fits most.
Staple have been putting out some strong designs for over a decade now. Led by Jeff Staple, the gun store, Presto and Ali prints preempted a wave of identikit designs and this New York brand keeps putting in work. We respect the pigeon and the brand's Positive Social Contagion. This Fire Pigeon design on a cotton tee lets the pigeon rise, in a phoenix-like style.
