One of the cultural elements in Spike Lee's breakout 1989 film Do the Right Thing is the faux-pas of stepping on someone's fresh kicks, in that case the Air Jordan IV. Jordan Brand has made a point of drawing influence from the film over the years. The latest sneaker from the series is the Jordan Son of Mars Low, which debuted earlier this year as Mars Blackmon hybrid.
The sneaker has its detractors but this colorway brings the sneaker to life. Game royal dominates the look from elephant print heel to elephant print toe. Contrasting the blue is a speckled yellow midsole along with grey, red and green accents.
Finding the kicks can be done through shops like Politics. Also, you can score a pair through Nike.com (US) at 8AM EDT.
In Europe, check Nike.com at 8:00AM BST/9:00AM CET.
