The concept of the Johnny Kilroy Pack dates back to 1993. Michael Jordan had just retired and Nike created a commercial to promote the Air Jordan 9 staring Steve Martin on a quest to bring clarity to a number of sightings of true ballers who look like Jordan. Inspired by incognito Jordan who played for numerous teams under numerous aliases, this season, Jordan Brand has created the Kilroy Pack.
First there was the Johnny Kilroy, then came the Fontay Montana, Bentley Ellis and most recently Calvin Bailey. The collection will close out on the 1st of December with the release of the Motorboat Jones colorway. However, before that, Jordan Brand will drop the Slim Jenkins addition to the series. The kicks come in Mystics colors, balancing a black base with university blue and grey accents.
The kicks are set to drop on the 24th of November at Jordan Brand dealers like Social Status.
