As part of the global New Balance SMU program, the brand has connected with sneaker magazine Sneaker Freaker.
The Australian magazine has created a creative colorway which is anchored down the middle in black suede. The toe is colored in orange mesh and leather, while yellow accents are seen on the N, inner-lining, heel and midsole.
The sneakers are scheduled to release on the 5th of December at select shops.
Next year the Nike Challenger is celebrating its 30th anniversary having first released in 1980. Next year we should expect to see a healthy mix of color combos of the sneakers. Among the colorways that will release is this vivid pink and black pair, built in nylon, suede and mesh. Look for these to release in January as part of the Nike Sportswear Spring 2010 collection.
Today a new video of the designer of the Lebron VIII’s, Jason Petrie, was launched on the web introducing the new colorway.
The shoe itself comes in a white leather upper with midnight navy blue elements and metallic gold accents as well as hits of red to manifest the Cleveland Cavaliers team colors.
The release date got corrected and is now set to November 19th at select Nike Accounts.

A few years back Hip Hop mogul Damon Dash took the reigns at Keds. The brand then tried to evolve its image from classic footwear to edgy sneakers in the vein of the Nike Air Force 1 and Bape.
Keds has shed its edgy look and now has embraced the minimalist trend in footwear. Frankly, the brand’s look is more at home in this setting, which is evident from the winter 2009 releases of the Keds Chukka Suede and Pro Keds Royal Lo CVS. You can find them at shops such as California based Huf.
The Nike Sportswear regional rivalry pack has dominated the labels fall and winter releases of 2009. The Nike Twilight Runner EU is among the sneakers, which are apart of the Athletic West division regional collection.
The sneaker has a winter look in its dark cinder and rustic birch boot-like base with very berry accents, which give the sneaker a lively feel. The tongue has a vintage Nike symbol, reminding us that the Swoosh was born in the Pacific North West of the USA. You can find the sneakers now in Stockholm at SNS.
