Nike Court Force High Basic | Winter 2009 Releases

Three color combos of the Nike Court Force High Basics have just released in Japan at mita. Two of the sneakers are built in a mix of patent and smooth leather while the third features a complete smooth leather construction.

The colorways are basic but have a nice blend of colors like the pair in navy, purple and blue. The second pairs comes in a popular sports color combo in white blue and yellow. One of the kicks comes in a nice silver and black base with pink accents.

The second round of the Nike Air Zoom Tiempo x Livestrong “City Pack” is gearing up to release this Saturday the 7th of November 2009 at select Nike Tier Zero accounts.

Included in this drop are colorways representing Berlin, Paris and San Francisco.
The Nike Air Zoom Tiempo “Berlin” was designed by Artoo aka Henrik Kuerschner in a whit base with a rainbow of contrast stitching.

The Paris edition of the Air Zoom Tiempo designed by Yorgo Tioupas embraces simplicity in a black on black build treated to be reflective.

Massan from San Francisco must be a Giants fan because he styled his Air Zoom Tiempo in the teams colors brown and orange.

Nike Blazer "Spike Lee" | November 2009 Release

The Nike Big Nike High “Spike Lee” released in September at sneaker shops. This month the Nike Blazer “Spike Lee”, which we first saw back in June will make the rounds at shops.

The kicks have a white perforated leather build with a red leather Swoosh, lucky green inner-lining, and black contrasting elements.

The color combination of of red, green and black is reminiscent of Africa Medallions, which were the thing to wear back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The color combination is also associated with Lee from the poster art from Do the Right Thing to the colors used by his production company.

Footlocker has announced they will have the kicks in-stock this month.

The latest Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent has now begun to release at sneaker shops Stateside. The sneaker comes in a silver and black colorway, which looks like it would be worn by Tim Duncan. You can find them in Southern California at Proper and RPS in Seattle.

Project Blue Foot x Air Jordan | Design Competition Winner

The winner has been announced for the Project Bluefoot Air Jordan design contest. And the winner is…Tom Matic. Jordan Brand design gurus D’Wayne Edwards and Jason Mayden judged the entrants and had some very interesting constructive criticism.

Mayden and Edwards stated that the designs focused too much on the back story of the design as opposed to trying create real world innovation. The judges wanted to see some modification work with tape and ripped up kicks mixed with some ideas for improvement.

Reebok Pump Omni Lite "Dee Brown"

This month the Reebok Pump renaissance is in full swing with the many collaborative releases honoring the 20th anniversary of the original Pump.

The most famous player to sport the Pump was Dee Brown of the Boston Celtics who won the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk contest with a no-look Dunk wearing the Pumps.

Reebok has now re-released the Pump Omni Lite worn by brown in two original colorways. Both sneakers come in a leather build with one in black / white / orange and the other in white/black/orange. You can pick them up in Illadelphia at Ubiq.
