Back in 1997 the Heaven’s Gate religious cult in California committed mass suicide. One of the many oddities of the event was that all members wore the exact same thing down to their Nike Cortez. Last year word broke that Nike SB was going to produce a pair of Dunk Highs in colorway inspired by the tragedy. The kicks were supposed to release this past August but due to a fear of bad publicity the kicks release was scraped.
